In late 2018, the Fraser Coast Regional Council engaged Ausco Modular to design and manufacture football and netball clubhouses within stage one of the $48 million master-planned development. The sporting precinct located on over 60 hectares in the coastal town of Hervey Bay, hosts regional, state, and national sporting competitions and carnivals in the growing region.
In 2021 Ausco was again awarded the modular construction architect and supplier of choice for stage two of the expansion of the precinct. Sixteen modules were manufactured locally in our Brisbane factory and installed within six weeks, which was completed ahead of programme and resulted in a very satisfied client.
The new facilities are for the popular sport Oztag, soccer, rugby and road cycling. The large deck caters to spectators and is a lovely shaded social space for the local community and visitors to the region to enjoy.
